Every buy pays a tax into the pot. One buyer takes it all, with odds proportional to the tax you paid, multiplied by your early-entry bonus. Tune the round, place your entry, read your odds.

How the field is modeled. The pot minus your tax is split across the other buyers: the share you set goes to the first 20 ranks (equal buys, tier multipliers applied), the rest enters at full price. Your odds are your weight over the total weight of that field.

Zero-sum by construction. With no bonus, everyone’s expected value equals their tax exactly. The early-entry bonus creates no money; it moves expected value from latecomers to early buyers.

Dilution. Odds settle at close, across the full field. Enter early on a growing pot and your displayed odds fall as it fills. Your rank advantage does not.

Snipe window. The first 10 seconds pay a 7.5% surcharge and are barred from the draw entirely. Bots fund the pot; they do not win it. Not part of this theoretical model.
